On Friday, September 14, 2012, COSCO Americas invited customers, industry leaders, and government officials to celebrate its Thirtieth Anniversary at our headquarters at 100 Lighting Way, Secaucus, NJ. The event marked an important milestone and was a great success. Among the notable guests, speakers were Mr. Richard Lidinsky, Chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission, Ambassador Sun Guoxiang PRC Consul General in New York, Mr. Ma Zehua, President of COSCO Group, Mr. Mike Van Wagner, Executive Director of the NJ Business Action Center, Mr. Mac Bronson, Vice President of Hamilton Beach Brands, and Mayor of the Town of Secaucus Michael Gonnelli.
During the event COSCO Americas was recognized for our contributions. COSCO leaders accepted these awards on behalf of COSCO Americas:
• Certificate and Award of Merit presented by the Honorable Richard Lidinsky, Chairman of the Federal Maritime Commission
• Anniversary Recognition Letter from New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno presented by Mr. Mike Van Wagner, Executive Director of the Business Action Center
• Carrier of the Year 2012 presented by Mr. Mac Bronson, Vice President, Hamilton Beach Bands
• Key to the Town of Secaucus recognition presented by the Honorable Michael Gonnelli, Mayor of the Town of Secaucus and members of the Secaucus town Council

The event also marked the grand opening of the COSCO Exhibit, a display depicting CAI’s evolution and contributions over these 30 years.
