On June 6, 2012, the Port of Long Beach honored 14 top ocean carriers within the Green Flag environmental program.

COSCO has been recognized each year since the Port of Long Beach started the program in 2005. This successful initiative has resulted in helping to decrease vessel diesel pollution by half at the Port of Long Beach. At COSCO we are proud of our commitment to this (and similar) environmental initiatives.
