Throughout the month of December, COSCO loaned a 20-foot container to Port Metro Vancouver for an annual food drive to benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.   The container was wrapped to look like a present and held the 1,000 pounds of food donated by both locals and visitors during the holiday season.  It was on display in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel and Convention Centre where thousands of people walked by each day, providing positive publicity for COSCO and the Food Bank.

Each year the port of Vancouver hosts “Christmas at Canada Place” which helps to bring the local community and vistors together to celebrate the holidays in a festive, family-friendly Christmas destination.

The COSCO container held over 1,000 pounds of  donated food throughout the month of December.

Port Metro Vancouver has thanked COSCO for our generosity in allowing use of the container during the holidays.
