The sixth annual U.S. – China Transportation Forum was held in Chicago on October 28-30, 2013. The theme of the forum was “Advancing Green Transport Technology for our shared & Sustainable Future”. It was hosted by the U.S. Department of Transportation. 

As a critical part of COSCO’s participation President LIU spoke to the forum at large, representing the “Stakeholder Response Panel”.  President LIU described COSCO’s business operations across the broad scope of the transportation spectrum. He shared with the attendees the economic impact COSCO has had in the U.S. and the positive effect on not just our economies, but the social contributions and well being in the U.S. President LIU also addressed COSCO’s contributions to improved Bi-Lateral Trade and overall global prosperity.

Chinese and American delegations developed and approved a number of Action Plans, including signing the “Joint Declaration of the sixth U.S. – China Transportation Forum”.
