On January 28, 2013, COSCO Americas was honored with a “NJ Smart Workplaces Award” for 2012. It is the sixth year in a row we received this recognition at the Gold Level.
The award was presented by the Hudson (County) Transportation Management Association (Hudson TMA) at the Culinary Conference Center at the Hudson County Community College. The State of New Jersey, through the NJ Department of Transportation, honors companies for their outstanding achievements through participation in programs that provide and promote commuting alternatives for their employees, thus reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

The Hudson TMA asked us to make a special request. As you may or may not be aware the Pulaski Skyway will undergo a major rehabilitation project beginning in 2014. The NJ Department of Transportation is seeking input to identify ways to keep traffic moving during construction.
