Mr. Redish
formally joined COSCO in 1990 to build their Information
Systems, one of the four global regional centers. As
such, he was responsible for the hardware and software
technical specifications. The initial system consisted
of a base AS/400 system with seven satellite processors
throughout North America. The system has grown and been
modified over the eleven years to incorporate the most
advanced communications processes, connecting more than
twenty-three remote and virtual offices throughout North
America. The combination voice and data network now
interconnects the major offices throughout North
America. The system provides a dynamic Intranet as well
as Internet access to its user base of more then 600
users.
Mr. Redish
has more than thirty years experience in the Information
Technology area. Beginning his career in the Time
–Sharing area in the 1970’s. He entered the marine
business in 1976 and has been employed in the industry
ever since.
He has
a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the Pennsylvania
State University System and has taken graduate courses
at American University in Washington D.C. |
