COSCO Container Lines Americas, Inc. has an opening for an Equipment Control Maintenance and Repair Coordinator

Requirements:
Hours:  M-F,  8:30am – 5:00pm
Experience: 3-5 Years
Education: Bachelors Degree

The duties and responsibilities consist of the following:

Perform all M&R related duties including but not limited to:

• Input and approval in the COSCON M&R system.
• Create and process  all IJOS orders for general and off hire repairs. Correct any over 60 day unmatched orders.
• Work with depots/vendors to ensure all damaged equipment is approved and repaired in a timely manner.
• Follow up as required and provide weekly status report on all outstanding repair units.
• File claims on overdue and lost/stolen equipment according to the 30,60,90 day policy. Review and follow-up on claims for payment status.
• Create 3PI as required.
• Coordinate with  the various railroads/ports on all leaning, leaking and damaged units inside the terminal, advise and notify the respective customer service department.
• Coordinate specialized equipment including reefer/genset availability.
• Prepare weekly/ monthly equipment reports as assigned.

Assist with other department duties including back up as required.

Basic knowledge of Containers and Chassis along with technical skills. Computer, customer service, telephone, and organizational skills. Experienced career level required. 3 - 5 years of experience. Bachelor's Degree is the Minimum Educational Requirement
