Sea Trade International has an opening in their Secaucus, New Jersey Office for a Custom Broker in the Sales Department.

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Prepare entry papers complying with the government's custom service regulations
- Must follow all regulations related to other agencies which have a direct bearing on import of goods
- Must have knowledge of government tariffs and excise taxes and accordingly quote duty rates on goods to be imported
- Must have the ability to prepare papers for appeal against customs department or relevant agency.
- Must have a proper government license as a Custom Broker.

 

Experience - 1 to 3 years Education - Associate Degree or Advanced Collegiate Studies
