Corporate Management Division
The Corporate Management Division (CMD), led by XU, Chao, General Manager, covers a wide range of functionalities that include strategic planning for Cosco’s transportation business in North America, South America, and West Indies, project management, legal affairs, administration and other functions. CMD is organized into the following sections:
Strategic Planning & Corporate Governance
Strategic Planning & Corporate Governance, led by Nancy Lu, Deputy General Manager, supports a varied range of projects affecting COSCO Americas' subsidiaries and divisions.
Specifically, Strategic Planning & Corporate Governance provides support in the areas of:
- Strategic Planning for Cosco’s transportation business in the Americas
- Project Management, including project development, planning, design, implementation, scheduling, tracking and deployment.
- Corporate Governance, including Corporate Documentation Management
- Corporate training
- Public Relations
- VISA and Immigration Management, including Employment Eligibility coordination
- Web management
Administration
Administration, led by Wendy Ye, Assistant General Manager supports the executives and employees of COSCO Americas, Inc. and provides service to all divisions and subsidiaries, by the management of:
§ Executive & Employee Support
§ Automobile fleet
§ Travel
§ Office supplies
§ Facilities purchasing
§ Visiting Delegation Support
§ Other support services
Legal Affairs
Corporate Legal Affairs, led by David Marcano, Assistant General Manager, supports COSCO Americas, Inc., subsidiaries, affiliates and divisions, by providing quality, cost effective management of all COSCO Americas’ Legal issues. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing a “Single Point of Contact” for all Legal issues
- Case Preparation
- Legal Billing Management
